About Us

The Maynard NOW group meets at the Eagles hall, on the 2nd floor at the corner of Nason and Summer streets. The entry door is on Nason street.

Parking is on street or in the municipal lot across Summer Street (not in the library lot, please). Use the stairs or chair lift to get to the hall. A unisex bathroom is located at the top of the stairs.

From 1980 to 2014, Maynard NOW meetings were held at St. Bridgets church across from the Fire Station. The group moved after the church was closed.

Maynard NOW is best known for the Nooner held weekdays at noon. It also hosts an 8 PM speaker-discussion meeting on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, a Wednesday 7PM speaker-discussion meeting, and a Sunday Grapevine discussion meeting.

Maynard NOW meetings are "open" — all are welcome. The Maynard NOW group follows AA 12 Steps and abides by the 12 Traditions of AA. Our group code, per our textbook Alcoholics Anonymous, Love and tolerance of others is our code.
